Addition to Bergio design team
The young designer, Hyun Jung Lee, has recently joined the expanding jewelry brand Bergio in its design department. “Hyun Jung will add yet another dimension to the Bergio brand,” says Berge Abajian, company founder and creative director. “We are always looking for creative and talented individuals who have both a unique design sense, and strong business skills. We found these in Hyun Jung Lee.” After a degree in Product Design from the Kaywon School
of Art & Design in Korea in 1996, Lee
began restoring antique jewelry and furniture. Her interest in gems led her to a GIA certification in 2001, followed by a degree from FIT in 2005. For two years, Lee worked as head jewelry designer and merchandiser for L.I.D. Ltd Diamonds before joining Bergio. “I am looking forward to working with Bergio,” she says. “I am delighted to work with such a creative and dynamic brand.”
